The Most Powerful Force in the Universe

There is no need to hide your doubts. It is understandable that you are plagued by them, that you wrestle, that you lose faith from time to time. You are made that way. Love is big enough, strong enough, steadfast enough to hold you and all your fears. It never ends.

The way through doubt is not to hide or deny your struggle, but to engage it fully. To argue with God, with "the way things are," with life's trials is holy. Faith is not so much what matters as faithfulness. Faith evolves and grows, just hold steady in your relationship to what is good, what you know matters, what brings Life out of death and Light out of darkness.

Do not worship at the altars of fragile and sensitive gods, for they are undoubtedly false. A true God does not need to insist on complete obedience or punish those who fear. Love is the most powerful force in the universe and it is unafraid of controversy, unable to be stopped, even by the deepest and most powerful doubt. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
